Box 580 • Fort Collins, CO 80522-0580 (970)221-6750 July 22, 2008 Dear Resident or Property Owner: On Tuesday, August 5th, 2008, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the City of Fort Collins Offices at 281 N. College Ave in Conference Room A, the City of Fort Collins Current Planning Department will conduct a neighborhood meeting to discuss a development proposal in your neighborhood. The project is known as Oval Oaks. This is a request to redevelop the Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) House site located at the northwest comer of Laurel and Howes Streets into a 4-story mixed -use building. The redevelopment is proposed to have student residences, a small amount of ground -level retail and a lodge space for the fraternity. The site is 19,000sf. The property is zoned CC —Community Commercial. The list of affected property owners for this public information meeting is derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend. If you are unable to attend this meeting, written comments are welcome.
