The new site plan is provided in Appendix A. In a meeting on August 8, 2006, Eric Bracke requested a new traffic count at the Timberline/Vine intersection and a trip generation comparison of the new plan versus that in the "East Ridge Transportation Impact Study," (TIS) February 2003. If the trip generation for the new plan was lower, then a brief memorandum would be required. This memorandum documents the analyses. New peak hour traffic counts at the Timberline/Vine intersection were obtained in August 2006, as shown in Figure 1. Raw traffic data is provided in Appendix B. With the all -way stop sign control, this intersection operates acceptably as forms are provided in Appendix C. of the approach volumes at this counted in January 2005. reflected in Table 1. Calculation It should be noted that the total intersection is lower than that The new preliminary development plan (PDP) for East Ridge shows 394 dwelling units. The trip generation for this PDP is 3770 daily trip ends, 296 morning peak hour trip ends, and 398 afternoon peak hour trip ends. From the cited TIS, the trip generation for the First Filing was 4100 daily trip ends, 316 morning peak hour trip ends, and 392 afternoon peak hour trip ends. The daily trip generation of the new PDP will be 330 trip ends lower. The peak hour trip generation will be 20 trip ends less in the morning peak hour and 6 trip ends more in the afternoon peak hour. Full development of the new East Ridge plan will generate 8490 daily trip ends, 531 morning peak hour trip ends, and 779 afternoon peak hour trip ends. From the cited TIS, the trip generation for full development of East Ridge was 8310 daily trip ends, 646 morning peak hour trip ends, and 832 afternoon peak hour trip ends. The daily trip generation of the new plan for East Ridge will be higher by 180 trip ends. The peak hour trip generation will be 115 trip ends and 53 trip ends lower in the respective peak hours. It is concluded that the cited TIS (of record) adequately addresses the traffic impacts of the new East Ridge plan.
