COLLOCATION STATEMENT
In the past 5 years, Verizon Wireless has made numerous attempts to collocate this
communications site on various properties. We pursued collocation at Rocky Mountain High
School, 1300 W. Swallow Road, but were unable to come to agreement on lease terms.
At Market Centre Retail, 902 W. Drake Road, the property owner was interested but there was
no space for Verizon Wireless' electronic equipment
Verizon Wireless was unsuccessful with lease negotiations at medical office facilities at 815
Centre Avenue and 909 Center Avenue.
We had successfully negotiated an agreement with the City of Ft Collins Senior Center at 1200
Raintree Drive. However, the Center did not complete the transaction because the rent would go
to the City's general fund and not specifically to the Center.
We pursued collocation on utility transmission poles on Drake Road, but the utility company
placed a moratorium on cell sites on its poles and it has not been lifted.
Property owners at the following addresses were not interested in leasing space to Verizon
Wireless: 701 Centre (Pharmaceutical Lab); 700 Centre Avenue, 814 W. Drake and 802 W.
Drake (commercial properties).
After 5 years of working with numerous property owners, Verizon Wireless now has a fully
executed lease with Raintree Investments LLC, owner of the property at 2555 S. Shields Street.
