Bob,
Here are a couple of things to either ask the school/group or suggestions.
1. Has a left turn signal phase been considered for WB Stuart traffic at Lemay ave. for the cars turning SB
onto Lemay?
2. If the two driveways will be consolidated into one than the further east the drive can be placed the
better. Also the driveway should be wide enough to stripe in a left turn exit lane and a right turn exit lane.
The sidewalk should just continue at grade in one piece across the wider driveway. (see attached photo)
3. Ask about the future events that will take place in the gym. What time will these events take place? How
will this in turn impact traffic flows? Will the circulation route used for school hours be the same, such as
pick up and drop areas,...?
