Dear Tom,
I wasn't aware that the Gillespie Farm was your
development project. It all came to light when I was given
an opportunity to sign a petition by a resident of County
Rd.11.
I didn't attend the August 23 meeting for reasons of my
own.,I also'have a hang-up about signing petitions. This
petition (letter)- was quite*broad.'Some of the requests I
don't agree with in the minute detail that is used in the
letter.
Therefore,:my comments are limited to two requests.
One, is the need for a soft widening of County Rd 11.
The berm effect does sound effective. I hope you and the
County can agree on a'soft widening.
Second, is the request for .a mirror -image on County Rd.
11. This doesn't seem to significantly reduce your units per
acre needs.
I wish you.well on this project. As population moves to
the north it shortens the distance we have to get a loaf of
bread or go out to dinner.
