HomeMy WebLinkAboutTHE GROVE AT FORT COLLINS - PDP - 16-10B - REPORTS - CORRESPONDENCE-HEARING (26)the control gate could be closed would add 4.0 million gallons to the release
of water. Given the time to become aware of a canal breach and to dispatch
personnel to the control gate at the Poudre River, a minimum delay of two
hours might be expected. This would result in a total release of water of
approximately 40.3 million gallons of water. A greater delay would cause an
even greater release of water.
Such an event would be catastrophic, impacting the safety of the
neighborhood residents, the occupants of any completed construction and
causing significant property damage.
Given the potential risks of such an occurrence, I respectfully request that
the proposed Campus Crest project be rejected.
