Subject: The Grove at Fort Collins - neighborhood information meeting
Thank you for attending the neighborhood meeting on December 7, 2010 to participate in the presentation and
discussion of the proposed new Grove at Fort Collins Project Development Plan. This proposed development
plan was submitted to the City on December 8, 2010 to initiate the development review process. It has been
through one round of development review and revised plans (based on City staff comments) will be submitted to
the City's Development Review Center at some time in the future.
Per your request, I have attached the "DRAFT" neighborhood meeting summary notes from the meeting on
December 7th. I would very much appreciate it if you would take the time to review these notes and make any
appropriate suggestions for additions and/or corrections that you see fit, as these notes were taken in haste as I
tried to keep up with the rapid question & answer exchange at the meeting. Responding to me by e-mail will
probably be the best way to forward your input, although I assure you that I will do what is necessary to ensure
accurate summary notes that will be ultimately forwarded to the Planning & Zoning Board at a public hearing.
Thank you in advance for your time and effort,
Steve Olt

Subject: RE: The Grove at Fort Collins - neighborhood information meeting
Steve,
I don't know if this is important but in #2 you refer to "inlet channel" a few times. I guess it could be called that but
it had been referred to as the Gardens at Spring Creek channel or the Horticultural Center channel at the
hearings.
#2 bullet - storm drainage: The west parking lot will drain into
inlets and discharge into a swale along the north and then
drain into the Garden's At Spring Creek channel which drains
into Spring Creek. Delete inlet channel - inlet channel. Some
of Rolland Moore Drive drainage will be piped into the water
quality swale along the north but all of it will drain into the
water quality pond and then into the Garden's at Spring Creek
channel. Delete - swale.
#5 bullet - Response: (City Stormwater) There is definitely a platted easement,
which is available on-line, that goes all along the north property
line. This is being shown at the meeting tonight. The Windtrail and
Care Housing developments are responsible for maintenance of
this easement.
#36 I don't remember that question. What do they mean, do we allow damage?
#47 Who will take over the Windtrail drainage easement? Answer: Right now it is still the responsibility of the
Windtrail HOA but City Stormwater is working with CSURF to work out an easement and maintenance agreement
to come onto their property to do the maintenance. The Wmdtrail HOA has the right and obligation to come onto
the property and maintain it now. Actual work won't can't be done until the FEMA designation is changed with the
Physical Map Revision.
I went through the questions and have addressed the ones I saw that needed updated. I will look for the other
email you spoke about at conceptual this morning and go from there.
