This would be evaluated as part of an amended ODP submittal and review. To date the developers & design team have not submitted an Amended CSURF Centre for Advanced Technology, ODP. > The last actual project -related contact City staff has had with the developers & design team was at the neighborhood information meeting held January 18, 2011 at Plymouth Congregational Church for the purpose of having the developers present their proposed Amended CSURF Centre for Advanced Technology, ODP to interested parties in attendance. Since that time the developers have been working with the Institute for Built Environment (IBE) at CSU to investigate potential sustainable green build applications for the project. Staff has been made aware of an open house that the developers, their design team, and IBE are planning to hold in the near future. They intend to invite the neighbors and other interested parties to this open house, presumably to be scheduled for late March or early April. > Please let me know if there is any additional information that I can provide for you at this time. > Steve Olt > City's Reviewing Planner > 970-221-6341 > solt@fcgov.com 3/14/2011 Page 2 of 3 'ericjense@gmail.com'; 'arh4@comcast.net'; Karen Cumbo; Ted Shepard; Marc Virata; 'linda.ripley@ripleydesigninc.com' Subject: Re: status of The Grove @ Fort Collins and Amended CSURF Centre for Advanced Technology ODP Steve, Thanks very much for the information. Because many of us were unable to attend the previous meetings for the Grove, I request this be handled just like a new development with all of the meetings normally required: i.e., neighborhood ODP and PDP, P&Z ODP and PDP. Thanks. A staff comment letter for the PDP,.dated January 4, 2011, was sent to the developers & their design.team. They must address staff's comments and concerns expressed in the letter with a submittal of revised plans that will, when received, go through a 2- week round of review by City staff and outside reviewing agencies. > At the end of the 2-week review period staff and the developers will come together at a Wednesday morning staff review meeting to discuss the current PDP documents. At this meeting it will be determined if the plans are in a condition to able to go to the Planning & Zoning Board for a decision or if another round of development review is necessary. > To date the developers & design team have not submitted revisions for The Grove at Fort Collins, PDP. Therefore, we are in a "waiting mode" in the City. Please note: The applicant developer) must, within a period of 180 days (6 months) of receipt of written comments and notice to respond from the City on any submittal of an application for approval of a PDP, submit revised documents as are necessary to address such comments from the City. This is set forth in Section 2.2.11(A) of the Land Use Code. City staff will be looking for a submittal of plan revisions no later than July 4, 2011. > Amended CSURF Centre for Advanced Technology, ODP: > An Amended CSURF Centre for Advanced Technology, ODP would be necessary to ensure conformance of The Grove at Fort Collins, PDP with an approved ODP. This is because the current PDP proposes a different alignment of a future Rolland Moore Drive through Parcel C than what is shown on the existing ODP of record, approved February 20, 2003. Also, the current PDP is proposing the elimination of a local street connection, named Northerland Drive, between Gilgalad Way and the future 3/14/2011 Page 1 of 3 Steve Olt From: Steve Olt Sent: Monday, March 14, 2011 8:22 AM To: 'Richard Thomas' Cc: 'Sarah Burnett'; 'ssheppa@msn.com'; 'sue.hine@business.colostate.edu'; 'switzer@gmail.com'; 'Jere Potter'; 'Jonathan Feiman'; Janet Hascall; 'jkkoski@yahoo.com'; 'dienerdey@comcast.net'; 'mcmurphy33@comcast.net'; 'morriss3@lamar.colostate.edu'; 'cohoff@comcast.net'; 'cmfix@comcast.net'; 'christine.susemihl@colostate.edu'; 'ceriksen41 @comcast.net'; 'cram sey37@hotmai1.com; 'brobst@peakpeak.com; 'bponcelow@comcast.net'; 'basmith@lamar.colostate.edu'; Terry Podmore'; 'Kevin Barrier'; 'kbalbert1 @comcast.net'; 'rachfeld@yahoo.com; 'Heather and Paul'; 'ericjense@gmail.com'; 'arh4@comcast.net'; Karen Cumbo; Ted Shepard; Marc Virata;'linda.ripley@ripleydesigninc.com' Subject: RE: status of The Grove @ Fort Collins and Amended CSURF Centre for Advanced Technology ODP Dick, The Grove at Fort Collins, Project Development Plan has been, to date, handled by the City as a new development. A neighborhood meeting for the PDP was held on December 7, 2010 (one day prior to submittal of the development plan) and the PDP is required to go to the Planning & Zoning Board for a decision when ready. That cannot occur before PDP revisions are submitted and reviewed by City staff. There was a neighborhood meeting held on January 18, 2011 where the developers and their design team introduced a potential new Amended CSURF Centre for Advanced Technology, Overall Development Plan. To date a new ODP has not been submitted to the City for review. When submitted an ODP will go through the City's normal development review process and go before the Planning & Zoning Board for a decision when ready. Thank you for your continued interest in this proposed project and the City's development review process.
