Erin,
Yes, I do remember you and your interest in The Grove student housing project
The Grove at Fort Collins Project Development Plan (PDP) - #16-10B did go to the Planning & Zoning Board last Thursday,
June 16t', for lengthy discussion and, ultimately, a decision. After hearing staffs presentation, the applicant's presentation,
two public group presentations and testimony from several individuals the Board deliberated for several hours. Ultimately
they voted 6 — 0 to approve The Grove at Fort Collins PDP. The next step in the City's development review process is for
the applicant to submit Final Plan documentation for review. After a complete review by City staff and outside reviewing
agencies the Final Plans would have to be approved and recorded to enable the project to move forward to construction.
As you might have read in Saturday's Fort Collins Coloradoan newspaper there are members of the public (primarily
neighbors to the proposed development) that are considering filing an appeal of the Planning & Zoning Board's decision to
approve The Grove at Fort Collins PDP. If an appeal is filed at the City Clerk's office it will be scheduled for a hearing date
with City Council. Council's options would be to uphold the Board's decision, overturn the Board's decision, or remand the
item back to the Board for further deliberation. An appeal must be filed within 14 calendar days of the date of the Board's
decision, being Thursday, June 301h at 5:00 p.m.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance

Hi Steve,
I'm not sure if you remember me. I've been covering Grove updates for the Collegian these past few months and I
was wondering if you had any information from last weeks Planning and Zoning meeting. If so, I would love to
hear about what's going on with the project. Let me know. Thanks.
