Dear Mr. Shepard,
1 am unable to attend the meeting tonight in city hall. I
realize that the area is already zoned High Density, so I feel like the
plan probably fits the criteria. However, I have concerns that there
should be adequate parking (one per bedroom). Just because this housing
is close to C.S.U. does not mean the students won't be using cars!
Already, many C.S.U. students use our neighborhood as a C.S.U.non-paying
lot.
I also feel that the exit out on to Prospect St. is a real
problem. Traffic is backed up east of Shields every single afternoon. I
live on Prospect Lane, and presently I have to drive down to the
stoplight at Whitcomb in order to get out of my street.
