As you know, the Atrium Suites project at 502 W. Laurel will be going to the Planning &
Zoning Board on June 17, 2004 for approval of the development plan. A modification
request to reduce the required setback of the Atrium building from the lot line on the
south side of your Sherwood Street home is part of the development application.
Approval of the modification request will not in anyway hinder or prohibit your ability to
construct an addition to your home, including an addition to the south side of the home,
provided of course that any construction you propose complies with the standards
applicable to your property. Please contact me if you need additional information
regarding this matter.
