RE: Atrium Suites Modification of Standards for Building Setback, 502 West Laurel Street
The Atrium Suites project, at 502 West Laurel Street, is proposing a modification of the building
setback requirements for the building's north elevation. This elevation is adjacent to the
property at 631 South Sherwood Street, which has been determined to be individually eligible for
landmark designation.
Historic Preservation staff has reviewed the plans and the modification request, and believes that
the impact upon the historic property of granting this request would be minimal. Granting this
modification for building setback should have no significant impact upon the 631 South
Sherwood Street property's continued eligibility for individual designation.
