Not all of the trees are clearly labeled. The tree and shrub list should include size, method of
transplant and number used. Standard transplant method is Balled and Burlapped. Minimum
sizes for trees are:
Shade Trees 2.0 inch caliper
Ornamental Trees 1.5 inch Caliper
Evergreen Trees 8 feet height.

O6/12/2012: Please add these landscape notes:
Comment Originated: 06/12/2012
• The soil in all landscape areas, including parkways and medians, shall be thoroughly
loosened to a depth of not less than eight (8) inches and soil amendment shall be thoroughly
incorporated into the soil of all landscape areas to a depth of at least six (6) inches by tilling,
discing or other suitable method, at a rate of at least three (3) cubic yards of soil amendment
per one thousand (1,000) square feet of landscape area.
• A permit must be obtained from the City forester before any trees or shrubs as noted on
this plan are planted, pruned or removed on the public right-of-way. This includes zones
between the sidewalk and curb, medians and other city property. This permit shall approve the
location and species to be planted. Failure to obtain this permit may result in replacing or
relocating trees and a hold on certificate of occupancy.

O6/13/2012: An access easement or right of way will need to be dedicated where the sidewalk
along the SE Frontage Rd routes around the existing utility boxes. Without a replat, this
process will need to be done by separate document using the City's Transportation
Development Review Fee form (TDRF). For additional information on these fees, please see:
http://www.fcgov.com/engineering/dev-review.php
Since you are not planning on replating the property, all easement vacations (if needed) and
referenced dedication above will need to be done by separate document.
a. Each easement dedication request has a TDRF of $250 for the processing and review of
the dedication. The recording fees will also need to be provided once we know how many
documents and pages there are. Please contact me if you need more information about this

06/08/2012: Related to to comment three: 3.2.1(E)(2)(d) requires at least five feet of
landscaping in front of 50% of the building. An effort to put more landscaping at the building
entrance and building face should be investigated. Perhaps the eastern 25' building setback
along the frontage road could be reduced. The LUC code may allow a 15' - 25' building
setback range. At a minimum, a shade tree should be placed in a cut-out or tree grate directly
south of the HC parking space. A proposed tree south of the building can be relocated to
meet this requirement. Refer to redline plan.
