This morning I was thinking about the concerns of our neighborhood and, in particular, the line of sight issues. One thing that would really help us all, I believe, would be new sketches showing a south to north view that includes the houses on Westbourn Circle illustrating the height of the houses and the height of the proposed bus garage. Then we would be able to see the actual line of sight, from upper and lower house floors, rather than hearing descriptions we may not, necessarily, trust. On the sketches we saw last night, that was not shown and many of the concerns are that the neighbors most impacted will see brick walls, or green man-made hillocks, and lose any of the treasured view. The line of sight sketches could put that concern to rest. I would also, respectfully, suggest that further consideration is given to a revised design, flat roofed, or lower (excavating more earth to place the building lower) at the very least. If the Mason Corrididor funding is $82M, then surely we could find the money for a flat roof, doors and a better design to improve the line of sight? More detail on noise levels, training hours etc would also be appreciated, as they become available. Thank you again and I look forward to the next meeting Yours sincerely Fiona H Alder (Mrs) 814 Courtenay Circle Fort Collins CO 80525 970 225 6206 file://C:\Documents and Settings\tshepard\Local Settings\Temp\GW}00001.HTM 4/15/2010
