The City of Fort Collins Current Planning Department will conduct two public meetings to
discuss a development proposal in your neighborhood. The project is referred to as the
Landmark Apartments Extension. The two meetings will be held on the following dates:
• Thursday March 22nd, 2012, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Tuesday March 27th, 2012, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Both meetings will be held at the Plymouth Congregational Church, 916 West
Prospect Road, Fort Collins, Colorado, in the church's Fellowship Hall.
The first meeting, scheduled for March 22nd, 2012, will be conducted by the Current Planning
department without the applicant present in order to devote time to inform residents about
the development review process and answer questions about the City's role regarding this
development proposal.
The second neighborhood meeting, scheduled for March 27, 2012, will be attended by the
applicant and sketch plans will be presented to the neighborhood. There will be an
opportunity to ask questions and provide input about the proposed project.
As proposed, the project is a request for multi -family housing on the 3.72 acres located to
the east of the existing Landmark Apartments at the southeast comer of West Prospect
Road and South Shields Street (Please see map on reverse.) The project proposes four
buildings; each is three stories in height. The buildings vary in size, but will have a total of 78
- 2 bedroom units between the four buildings. There would be 140 parking spaces. The
active needs of the project's residents will be met by the clubhouse and activity areas of the
existing Landmark Apartments, including the swimming pool. The site is zoned M-M-N,
Medium Density Mixed -Use Neighborhood.
Sincerely:
