Thanks for the letter notifying me of the upcoming meeting regarding the development of 1305 S.
Shields. I am really distressed by the fact that Mr. Bailey is only proposing 52 off-street parking
spaces for his potential residents. His past proposal (although nothing was formally submitted) was
to house about twice that many students and that since the students would be walking to campus,
they wouldn't need parking. Is there anyone I can write to to oppose this aspect of the proposed
development? I want to do this at the earliest possible time. I realize no formal proposal has been
submitted yet and I'm too early at this point, but I want to stay on to of this very important issue.
Thank you so much for your diligence in keeping me (and others in my neighborhood) informed. I
really appreciate all you have done for us in the past. You really seem to care.
