Request for Modification of Standard
We own the property at 414-416 Mathews Street, which is why we were informed about
this request. We also own other rental properties, and have always been required to
have the appropriate parking for tenants.
In our opinion, the leasing of 40 parking spaces instead of the needed 67 spaces would
result in a large amount of on -street parking. This location close to Old Town just does
not have that amount of available parking.
We are opposed to a Modification of Standard for this development, as we believe that
would set a precedent that could result in future problems.
