With the added use of Office to the property, the church is planning to have
Elderhaus Adult Day Programs use the house as additional office space. Elderhaus is a
mission of our church started in 1980 and its primary facility is on church property across
the street at 605 S. Shields Street. The proposed office space at 1008 Mantz Place will
rj house up to 4 employees who will work from 8-5:00, Monday thorough Friday. No
client traffic is planned. Parking will be in the driveway of the house, on the street or in
the church parking lot, just west of the house.

The proposal is compatible with the Mantz neighborhood and the project should
conform to the conditions listed. It is appropriate for the zone district, conforms to the
characteristics of the zone and will not create objectionable influences described.

There are already two large mature canopy trees on the property.

This house is built on a slab with a crawl space, so the siding comes close to the /
ground around much of the house. There are low plantings around the front stoop, the ✓
front of the house and around the west and east side of the property.
