08/20/2012: The existing security beam pedestals and conduit must be protected and
unobstructed during construction. Installation of a swale along the east side of the site
(between the control house and fence) is suggested. The elevation of the site east of the
control house is at a higher elevation that could be lowered, eliminating the need for a culvert in
the swale. Contact Bob Hover at 221-6727, or cell phone 217-8109.

Timberline Substation
I am okay with the wall installation location provided it is installed in the location shown on the
Google map provided.
The paper plans that just show the site need to show where the wall is to be located in
reference to adjacent property lines and Timberline Road needs to be shown and labeled on
the plans. Also need an address and legal description on the plans.

09/04/2012: Dixon Substation - Please describe how this proposal meets Section 3.8.11(A) of
the Land Use Code which requires that the wall does not create a "tunnel" effect.

09/04/2012: Dixon Substation - at the neighborhoodm\eting; ttheerre was extensive discussion
surrounding landscaping on the east side as welll•as•the northeast and southeast corners to

order to blend the wall better into the site. -Another s suggestion was that additional landscaping
should be provided on all sidefhe p, j\cty not lust the east. Please provide a revised
landscaping plan that includes(the following:
-Additional landscaping, e.g., evergreens,/specifically at the SE and NE project corners.
-Additional landscaping on the w st side of the project. Alternatively, could you provide a
rendering of the view to the west side of the wall to indicate that slopes or other features would
allow the wall to blend in as it is.

09/04/2012: Dixon Substation - Can a simulation be provided that not only depicts the
proposed wall on the east side, but also the landscaping? Please ensure the proposed
landscaping on the east side does not conflict with any future, proposed sidewalks for this
area, as per Engineering's conceptual review comments.

09/04/2012: Both stations - Is there a way we can work with you to create a base, middle, and
top for each of the walls? I can provide images to illustrate what we are referring to and that
would build off the discussion at the neighborhood meeting. Let's also further discuss how to
articulate the height.

08/21/2012: Existing pine trees along Overland Tto be in decline. Consider adding
additional landscaping/screening along street frontage to buffer wall, with or without existing
trees.

Provide that the wall is located as shown on the plans behind the landscaping I have no issues
with the wall location.
Comments on the two plan sheets provided: LS101 and LS101
1. Overland Trail needs to be identified and labeled on the plans.
2. Need an address and legal description on the plans.
3. There are sections identified on the plans, but sheet LS201 was not provided (at least not
to me.)
