Dear Mr. Schlueter:
We offer the following responses to the Stormwater Engineering items listed in the city plan
review comment letter from you dated August 10, 2012. City comment references are listed in
italic text with our responses in bold.
Comment No. I Response:
Acknowledged. Please see the attached grading/drainage/erosion control plan and
drainage letter.
Comment No. 2 Response:
Acknowledged. Please see the attached grading/drainage/erosion control plan and
drainage letter. Existing drainage has been documented and is shown on the existing
drainage plan. Proposed drainage is shown on the grading/drainage/erosion control plan.
As shown in the drainage letter, the proposed drainage flowing to the east is less than the
existing runoff. Since the house and garage layout currently shown is very conceptual, the
exact downspouts and gutters will not be known until time of building permit submittal.
Basin lines have been drawn showing a worst -case roof drainage scenario and an updated
grading plan should be submitted at time of permit if the house layout is significantly
different than as proposed.

Acknowledged. Please see revised plans showing 5' easements at the north, south, and east
property lines as well as two 5' easements at the shared property line. There will be no
access easement.
