Hi Bob,
I do not work in this department anymore, but I wanted to forward your message to Sherry bertson Clark, the planner
for the project you are referring to. She is cc'd on this email and can respond to your quest' ns better than I can at this
time.
Thanks, and good luck with your review of this project.

Subject: 5305 Ziegler Road Multi family
Hi Emma, /
6
We just received RDP120033 Ziegler Harvest Parkd PD Type II request for comments.
Couple of things:
cCenturylink has facilities (copper cable) -on the west side of Ziegler road that currently feeds this house and the adjacent
one to the north. To relocate that access pedestal will beat the developers expense as may conflict with the extension
of County Fair Lane into Saber Cat Drive. There is also a fiber line running express through here south to fossil lake
ranches.
The copper line may also need to be extended south to service these 4 buildings (at CTL expense) however, once that
access ped is established in the city utility easement, it will be the developer/builders responsibility to provide a
backbone and entrance conduits to the buildings from that point. Because these are only 6 plexes at most, the
current design is to service with dual 6-Pair service drops from the access pedestal This will provide spare capacity
should any tenant need more than one line to their unit. No actual design will be put in place until the
construction permit is issued.
It will also be required by the builder to provide a suitable backboard on the units to mount network interface units (as
on a single family residence) along with proper grounding.
Lastly, It appears that a new storm water line will need to be placed from Ziegler south to the wetlands
area. Centurylink has a backbone fiber (mentioned above) that runs along the west side of Ziegler to feed Fossil
Lake. If the installation of the SS line (or the road build) conflicts with the fiber in the city utility easement, it will be
lowered or raise at the developers expense. Because the CTL policy is to engineer and release the job to construction
ONLY once the estimated bill is paid, it's imperative for the developer to locate existing utilities via potholing to
determine any conflicts well in advance and any last minute conflicts/resolutions will inevitably impact their times.
Thank you in advance,
