adjoining tract of land (Tract R) where the original P.U.D. would allow for "vehicle
storage". I have given this parcel to the H.O.A. who could thus use it for a potluck park
and should adequately off set any concerns about the mini storage layout.
I hope that the forgoing explanation provides sufficient documentation for
approving the requested minor amendment. Please contact me if you believe that I can
provide additional information.

I have requested and submitted appropriate documents that I might obtain a minor
amendment to the Waterglen P.U.D. concerning tract W approved for mini storage use.
My reasons for requesting the amendment are as follows. First the original layout
of structures did not take into account an overhead power line easement runner east west
through the center of the cite. I negotiated an agreement with the Power Company that
allowed fencing only, no storage units under their lines. Second, I met with the fire
authority on several occasions concerning vehicular emergency access requirements and
subsequent emergency access easement.
As a result of incorporating the requirements of the two for mentioned authorities,
the site plan needed to be modified. It was no longer possible to configure the building as
shown on the original P.U.D plan. The only current option meeting the requirements of
both the power utility and fire authority is as submitted in my request for the minor
amendment.
Finally, although not required at the time, as the developer of Waterglen P.U.D.. I
felt that it was in the best interest of the adjoining home owners that I place certain trees,
grass, and walk ways around the perimeter of the mini storage lot. I felt that the property
would be more attractive while it remained undeveloped. I knew that at the time of the
development some or all of said installations may have to change. The final drainage,
utility, and building -design were not to be completed until sufficient home.occupancy
would warrant the construction of the property. Thus my _final, plans require moving
trees, turf, and walkson.,my property:
I am aware that homeowners may feel a certain level of "ownership" of this
vacant parcel as it is adjoined by several homes. I believe my amended plans address
their concerns by providing attractive buildings, fences, landscaping, and trail
connections. In addition, I have decide not to extend our mini storage operation onto the
