1. The required storages for ponds 1 and 2 are inadequate according to calculations
completed by stormwater. Please recalculate the required storage volumes for the ponds
using the FAA method, which is the method approved by Stormwater.
RESPONSE:
2. The adjacent half street should be detained. If it is not possible to detain the half street,
then compensate for this undetained release by detaining off -site flows or reducing the
release rate.
RESPONSE:
3. Emergency spillways are needed for both detention ponds. The finished floor elevation
of the adjacent building should be one foot above the overflow elevation for the spillway.
The spillways should be sized for the 100-year inflow to the pond.
