July 29, 2010 Carol Tunner Fort Collins Advance Planning Dept. 281 North College Aveune Fort Collins, Colorado 80524 RE: Invitation to Comment Proposed Telecommunications Tower Applicant Name: T-Mobile Site Name: Drake Crossing Site Number: DN04281E 2170 West Drake Road Fort Collins, Larimer County, Colorado Terracon Project No. 25108044 Dear Ms. Tunner: Irerracon On behalf of T-Mobile, Terracon is writing to invite your comment on the effect of the above -referenced project on historic resources within the project Area of Potential Effects (APE) that are eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. We are requesting your review pursuant to Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation's regulation for compliance with Section 106, and the Nationwide Programmatic Agreement on the Collocation of Wireless Antennas (adopted March 16, 2001), and the Nationwide Programmatic Agreement effective March 7, 2005. Field assessment for both historic properties and archaeological sites will be conducted and a determination will be made of the project's direct and indirect effects on eligible properties. The Fort Collins Landmark Preservation Commission is invited to provide information concerning historic or archaeological properties already listed in the National Register or that could be eligible for listing in the National Register. T-Mobile proposes to construct a 50-foot monopole communications tower with additional ground equipment on a 16-foot by 36-foot parcel of land at the above -referenced address. The proposed tower is located at (township 7N, range 69W, section 21, and longitude 1050 7' 5.599" and latitude 400 33' 14.102"). If you would like to comment on this undertaking, please respond to this letter within 30 days of its receipt. Thank you for your response on this matter.
