The revised Utility plans show an inverted siphon which was designed to carry flows under Triangle Drive. This concept was reviewed with Dick Barnhar4at the North Louden Ditch Company. On behalf of the Ditch Company, Dick wanted to see if there was an alternative solution to a siphon. Northern Engineering redesigned this crossing, using a rectangular concrete box with a grated top. This would allow the ditch to remain at existing grade, eliminating the need for a siphon. In concept, the Ditch Company prefers this alternative. In signing this letter, the Ditch Company requests that they be allowed to review final design of this crossing structure, and sign off the final Utility Plans. They do agree that this crossing is acceptable to the North Louden Ditch Company, subject to final review. This revised concept has been reviewed with Basil Hamden at Stormwater Utility and with Sheri Wamhoff at City Engineering Department. Please let me know if there is any additional information that you need regarding this letter. IY oger A!
