"[06122104] The plat is the only plan that clearly shows the property boundaries for this project, but the property boundaries for the project should be clearly shown on all plans. Please revise. " R. Acknowledged: The property boundaries are clearly shown on all sheets. 200. "[06122104] Regarding the sight distance easements: only the easements need to he shown on the plans. The remaining lengths of line should be deleted. " R. All drawings have been coordinated to show sight distance easements as requested. All other line lengths have been deleted. 203. "[06122104] General reminder: building footings are not allowed within easements. Buildings will have to be constructed exactly where they are shown. " R. Acknowledged: On Sheet 3 in the Final Utility Plans, a note stating "The building footings are not allowed within easements" has been added. 206. "[06122104] Please see plans for any additional comments." R. In response to the two foot (2) minimum separation from the little retaining wall and the bike path, please note that this is an existing condition that was implemented with Martinez P.U.D. Please refer to the photo attached with this letter. 207. "[06123104] A completed Development Agreement information sheet has yet to be received by the City. " R. We apologize. Katie Moore provided that form to us at one of our recent meetings. Mickey Willis filled one out and delivered it to Katie on Thursday, July 8, 2004. Topic: Landscape Plan 37. "[06122.104] Repeat: In particular, the parking lot/back up area west of the garages south of the RR tracks doesn't match from the site/landscape plans to the utility plans. Please coordinate. Repeat: Please match with other plans/plat. " R. Acknowledged: The parking lot/back up area west of the garages south of the RR tracks is now provided on the landscape plan by Wolff -Lyon Architects and matches the utility plans. Dear Mr. Olt, SHEAR ENGINEERING CORPORATION This letter provides responses to review comments concerning Staff Project Review for Mason Street North (Major Amendment to Martinez P.U.D.), dated June 28, 2004. The Final Utility Plans, Final Plat, and Final Drainage and Erosion Control Report redlines have been addressed with this resubmittal. The responses follow the numbering order presented in the summaries. Engineering Issue Contact: Katie Moore Topic: General 54. "[06/22/04] Repeat: There are still existing items being shown with dark line weights, making them look to be proposed instead of existing (i.e., the sidewalk on Cherry Street). Please revise. Original comment: Please use phantom lines for existing features buildings adjacent to site. " R. Acknowledged: We trust that all line weights are now satisfactory. Existing curb and gutter on Cherry Street is dashed and faded. The future sidewalk on the south side of Cherry Street has been labeled "future pedestrian walk: not a part of this project". In addition, the line weights around the water quality pond have been adjusted to distinguish between existing and proposed. 74. "[06/22/04] Repeat: Please provide copies of completed RR agreements to the City prior to Mylars. Original comment: Any work done within the RR ROW/easement requires approval by the railroad. Please provide a letter of intent from the Railroad regarding these improvements (grading, landscaping, pedestrian crossing, etc). " R. Acknowledged: This agreement is being negotiated at this time and will be finalized and provided immediately upon execution. We will provide you a hard copy of the agreement on Monday so you know it exists. It will not be executed at that time.
