HomeMy WebLinkAboutKING SOOPERS (CEDARWOOD) WTE COLOCATION - BDR - 38-06/B - CORRESPONDENCE - CORRESPONDENCE-HEARING (5)-- Planning, Development and Transportation Services Current Planning City of Fort Collins June 25, 2008 Dear Resident: On Thursday, July 10'h, 2008, starting at 5:00 p.m. in the City of Fort Collins Community Room, 215 North Mason Street (north entrance off parking lot), Fort Collins, CO.", the City of Fort Collins Administrative Hearing Officer will conduct an Administrative Hearing for a development proposal in your neighborhood. The project is known as King Soopers (Cedarwood) Telecom Wireless Equipment Co -location PDP—Type I. This is the only item on the agenda. This is a request to co -locate Verizon equipment on the 50-foot tall wireless monopole approved for a T-Mobile installation on the northwest comer of the Cedarwood Plaza building in the service drive aisle, behind the King Sooper's grocery store. The proposed co -location will involve a stealth antenna array (looks like a wider section of pole) below the T-Mobile approved stealth array on the approved wireless pole. It will also include fenced ground equipment in the grassy area to the north of where T-Mobile's ground equipment will be located. This co -location was discussed at the T-Mobile neighborhood meeting on August 20, 2007 and as a part of the T-Mobile hearings on May 16, 2007 and September 5, 2007. Buffer landscaping for this project was coordinated with the T-Mobile landscaping. The property is zoned NC — Neighborhood Commercial District, which allows these types of developments subject to a Type review, which includes this public hearing. If you have any interest or concern about this proposed project, you are welcome to contact me with questions and to see the proposed plans. You are also encouraged to attend this public hearing. At the hearing, you will have the opportunity to hear from City staff and the project applicant about the details of the project. You will also be given an opportunity to state your views about the project. Within ten days of the hearing, the hearing officer will decide whether to approve, approve with conditions or deny the project. The affected property owners list for this public hearing is derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed.
