HomeMy WebLinkAboutTHORLAND ANNEXATION & ZONING NO. 2 - 33-07 - CORRESPONDENCE - CORRESPONDENCE-HEARINGPlannin,_ 3evelopment and TransportatiL Services Planning and Zoning Citv of Fort Collins January 3, 2008 Dear Resident: The Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, on Thursday, January 17, 2008, at 6:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers", City Hall West, 300 LaPorte Avenue, will hold a public hearing on two (2) annexation proposals in your neighborhood. The proposed annexations are commonly known as the Thorland No. 1 and the Thorland No. 2, Annexations & Zoning - #32-07 and #33-07. This is a request to annex and zone 6.84 acres located on the north side of Kechter Road approximately 800 feet east of South Timberline Road. The property being considered for the two annexations is Lot 1 of the Blehm Subdivision (2224 Kechter Road, currently zoned FA 1 - Farming in Larimer County) and they are being processed concurrently by the City of Fort Collins. The southerly portion of the property is partially developed (with one single-family residence and outbuildings). These are voluntary annexations initiated by the property owners. The requested zoning for both of these annexations is UE - Urban Estate. The list of affected property owners for this public meeting is derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend.
