Number 93: In the original accident report obtained from the City there were ten accidents at the College/Triangle intersection. Seven were accidents that might be correctable by a signal at the College/Triangle intersection with five of those in a 12 month period. After further inspection by the City of Fort Collins, it was determined that there were only five accidents that might be correctable by a signal at the College/Triangle intersection and four of them were in a 12 month period. Since there were only four accidents in the 12 month period, this is not considered a high accident location according to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. Therefore, a comprehensive signal warrant study is not necessary at the College/Triangle intersection. It is recommended that the City of Fort Collins continue to monitor accidents at this intersection. Number 94: In the long range future, the traffic from the approved MeadowView of Fort Collins and Shenadoah Commercial were added to determine the volumes at the College/Triangle intersection. Appendix A shows figures of the MeadowView of Fort Collins and Shenadoah Commercial that was added into the background traffic. Number 95: The number of cyclists observed at the Avondale/Triangle intersection was 6 in the afternoon peak hour.
