Please find some general information based on our other 4 stores in the Ft Collins area.
Dumpsters: Roll -off dumpsters typically picked up once a week between 6am-Noon. Will work with local
municipalities.
Delivery trucks: Grocery has 4-5 deliveries/week, typically between 9-10PM. Grocery tractor leaves and trailer
remains to be unloaded during the evening re -stock, and empty trailer is picked up when next delivery is
made. Perishable has a daily delivery typically between 9PM — 3AM. Perishable truck does not utilize noise
indicators or honk, etc, during this eve delivery, and turns off engine and turns off refrigerators/generators
while parked at dock to remain quiet. Typically unloads and departs within 45 minutes.
King Soopers practices being good neighbors, and in fact, our logistics indicated that they have not received
one complaint regarding above mentioned truck deliveries from any of the 4 Fort Collins stores, which stores
have residences much closer than projected at the new N College/Willox store.

Eric,
Attached is the e-mail from Mrs. Marschke expressing her concerns about the King Soopers store in North
College Marketplace. City staff has been asked by the City Manager's office to prepare a Service Area Request
(SAR) response to her concerns. Our response must be completed by next Thursday, September 10th. We
welcome any and all input you may have to help us prepare our response.
Thanks,
Steve

Steve,
1) The dumpster is a rolloff— not the lid kind —for King Soopers. There will be dumpsters with lids in the
balance of the development — but certainly further away than the back of the KS store.
2) Yes.

Eric and Drew,
Thank you for this information. It is helpful to be able to understand the operational procedures of King Soopers.
Two questions come to mind:
1. There will be a metal/steel dumpster or dumpsters with lids that potentially can make noise?
2. Is this store intended to be a 24-hour store, open to the public for shopping all hours?
Thanks,
Steve Olt
