OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS RECOGNIZING
LIAISON REPRESENTATIVES FROM THE ASSOCIATED STUDENTS OF
COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FORT COLLINS
WHEREAS The City of Fort Collins is the home of Colorado State
University and
WHEREAS said University has an enrollment of approximately
17 000 students and
WHEREAS it is the desire of the City Council of the City of Fort
Collins and the Associated Students of Colorado State University to improve
communications between those two bodies and
WHEREAS items on the agenda being considered by Fort Collins City
Council frequently affect the students at Colorado State University and
WHEREAS the United States National Student Association has suggested
that the Associated Students of Colorado State University appoint two persons
to serve as liaison representatives at meetings of the Fort Collins City
Council and
WHEREAS the City Council believes that liaison representatives from
the Associated Students can improve the lines of communication between the
City Council and the student body of Colorado State University
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Council recognizes the two official liaison representa
tives appointed by the Associated Students of Colorado State University and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution does not in any manner
preclude any student from Colorado State University from appearing and
speaking for himself before the City Council and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall in no way be
construed as preventing any student from serving on the Fort Collins City
Council
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held
this 27th day of April A D 1972
