ORDINkN CE IN ORDER CO CIkSSIFY FOR ZONING PURPOSES
CERTAIN PROPIRTY BEING ANNF`tED TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
WHEREAS heretofore the City Council of the City of Fort Collins
initiated annexation procedures for certain property known as the Poppell
Annexation to the City of Fort Collins more
particularly described in the ' Notice of Public Hearing attached hereto and
WHEREAS the Planning and Zoning Board has made a study of said
annexation and has held a hearing and made a report and recommendation con-
cerning the zoning for said property all in accordance with Section 19 46
of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins Colorado 1958 as
amended and
WHEREAS The Planning and Zoning Board has recommended that said
property be zoned in the H-B Highway Business District under
the Zoning Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins and
WHEREAS the City Council desires to hold a hearing in order to
determine how said property shall be zoned all as required by said
Section 19 46

Irk NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT COLLINS that July 13 1972 at 7 30 P M or as soon thereafter
as the matter may come on for hearing in the Council Chambers in the City
Hall of the City of Fort Collins is hereby set as the time and place for a
public hearing in order to consider the zoning for said property and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby instructed
to publish a notice of said hearing as provided in Section 19-46 of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins Colorado 1958 as amended
in the form attached hereto

Notice is hereby given that on July 13 197Z at 7 30 P M or as soon
thereafter as the matter may come on for ~wearing in the Council Chambeis in the City
Hall of the City of Fort Collins the City Council will hold a public hearing in order
to determine the zoning for the property comprising the Poppell
Annexation to the City of Fort Collins said annexation being more particularly
described as follows
A tract of land situate in tho Coanvy of Laiirarp State oz Colorado, to-wit
A portion of the South Mesa Subdivision situate in the Southeast
4 of Section 26 , Township 7 North, Range 69 Westlof the 6th P M ,
Larimer County, Colorado being more specifically described as
follows Beginning at the SE corner of said Lot 1 and run thence
S 00 05 ' E 82 00 ' along the E line of said Lot 2 thence N 89
54 ' W 348 50 ' thence N 00 05 ' IV 250 00 ' thence S 89 54 ' E
348 50 ' along the N line of the vacated High Street , and S 00
05' E 168 00 ' to the point of beginning

The proposed zoning for said property is H B Highway Business
District under the zoning ordinance of the City of Fort Coliins Colorado
