OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO,
ACTING AS THE LOCAL LIQUOR LICENSING AUTHORITY CONCERN-
ING AN APPLICATION FOR A HOTEL AND RESTAURANT LIQUOR
LICENSE
The application for Rocky Mountain Post Number 1781 of Veterans
of Foreign Wars for a Club Liquor License came on for hearing on the llth
day of January, 1973, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Fort Collins,
Colorado, pursuant to notice duly given as required by law.
The authority, having heard the evidence introduced at the hearing,
and having examined the documents introduced and having heretofore held
a preliminary hearing and issued findings in writing on said preliminary
hearing, now makes the following findings:
1. The neighborhood to be served under this application is as
defined in the preliminary findings of the Authority.
2. Nothing contained in C.R.S. , 1963, Section 75-2-39 prohibits
the issuing of a license at the proposed location.
3. The applicants are of good character and qualified under the
Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins and the laws of the State of Colorado
for the license applied for.
4. The application is in proper form.
S. Evidence was presented by the applicant indicating a need for
the license applied for and no evidence was presented indicating that said

need does not exist and the local licensing authority hereby finds that
the reasonable requirements of said club require the issuance of the license
applied for.
6. The building in which the license is to be operated is now
constructed; however reports from the City Building Inspector and the City
Fire Department indicate that said building is not now safe for habitation
and extensive remodeling and renovation will be necessary and the applicant
has agreed that the same is necessary and has consented that the license
shall not issue until the building has been repaired and renovated to the
satisfaction of the City building Department and Fire Department and there-
fore no license should issue until the remodeling and renovation is completed
in accordance with the requirements of the City Building Inspector and Fire
Department made in conformity with the ordinances of the City of Fort Collins.
RESOLUTION
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS ACTING AS THE LOCAL
LIQUOR LICENSING AUTHORITY CONCERNING AN APPLICATION FOR A HOTEL
AND RESTAURANT LIQUOR LICENSE.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Fort Collins, acting
as the local liquor licensing authority that the application of Rocky Mountain
Post Number 1781 of Veterans of Foreign Wars for a Club Liquor License
be and the same hereby is granted in accordance with the findings of the
Authority set forth above; and

BE IT FURU-MR RESOLVED that said license shall not issue until
the building for which said license was applied is remodeled and repaired
in accordance with the requirements of the City Building Inspector and the
Fire Department, and the Authority has received a report from said Building
Inspector and Fire Department that said improvements have been completed
in accordance with their requirements.
Passed and adopted this 25th day of January, A.D. 1973.
