OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS SETTING FORTH
THE FINDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL AS A RESULT OF THE HEARING
HELD TO DETERMINE THE NEED FOR A HOUSING AUTHORITY IN THE
CITY.
WHEREAS, heretofore in accordance with the provisions of Section
69-3-4 C.R.S. 1963, as amended, a petition was filed with the City Clerk
setting forth a need for a housing authority to function in the City of
Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore set September 10, 1970,
as the hearing date to determine the need for a housing authority in the
City, and the City Clerk has duly published notice of such hearing date
as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has held said hearing and all
residents and tax payers of the City and all other interested persons
have had full opportunity to be heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FORT COLLINS:
Section 1 . That the City Council does hereby determine that
unsanitary and unsafe inhabited dwelling accommodations do exist in the
City of Fort Collins and there is a lack of safe or sanitary dwelling
accommodations in the City available for all the inhabitants thereof.
Y Section 2. The Mayor is hereby directed to appoint five (5)
commissioners to act as a housing authority in the City of Fort Collins,
all as more fully set forth in Section 69-3-5 C.R.S. 1963, as amended.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council
held this loth day of September, A.D. 1970.
