RESOLUTION 81-126
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
DESIGNATING A REPRESENTATIVE FROM THE CITY
TO SERVE ON THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
PLATTE RIVER POWER AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Fort Collins is a Director of the
Board of the Platte River Power Authority, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor has appointed another member of the Council to such
Board as the Mayor's designated representative, and
WHEREAS, on December 16, 1980, the Council reappointed Stanley R Case
as the City's representative to said Board for a four-year term, to serve
in addition to the Mayor's representative, and
WHEREAS, Stanley R Case has resigned as a member of said Board of
Directors because of his retirement from employment with the City of Fort
Collins , and it is therefore necessary for the Council to appoint a
replacement, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council desire to appoint Bill D Carnahan to
the Board of Directors of the Platte River Power Authority to serve as the
City's representative, in addition to the appointed Mayor's represen-
tative
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that Bill D Carnahan be, and he hereby is, designated to serve on
the Board of Directors of the Platte River Power Authority as the City's
representative for the remainder of the unexpired term of Stanley R Case,
said term to expire on December 31, 1984 The effective date of this
appointment is October 1, 1981

OF PLATTE RIVER POWER AUTHORITY
I, Elery Wilmarth, hereby certify that I am the duly elected and
qualified Mayor of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado ("Fort Collins") and
that the City Council of Fort Collins has appointed Bill D Carnahan
to serve as the Appointed Director from Fort Collins on the Board of
Directors of Platte River Power Authority ("Platte River"), which appoint-
ment is in full force and effect on the date hereof *
I do further certify that as Mayor of Fort Collins, I have elected not
to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of Platte River and have
designated Gary Cassell to serve as the Director of Platte River for
Fort Collins, who is also a member of the Fort Collins City Council **
