HomeMy WebLinkAbout1981-135-10/06/1981-AMENDING THE BYLAWS OF THE STORM DRAINAGE BOARD TO PROVIDE FOR ALTERNATE MEMBERS AND CHANGING THE DA RESOLUTION 81-135 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AMENDING THE BYLAWS OF THE STORM DRAINAGE BOARD TO PROVIDE FOR ALTERNATE MEMBERS AND CHANGING THE DATE OF THE ANNUAL MEETING WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has, in the past, established a system whereby alternate members may be appointed to serve on various boards and commissions, and WHEREAS, the bylaws of the Storm Drainage Board are inconsistent with this system, and WHEREAS, the bylaws of the Storm Drainage Board provide for an annual meeting to take place in August of each year, and WHEREAS, the Storm Drainage Board would prefer to have its annual meeting in July of each year NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS Section 1 That Article III, Section 1 of the Bylaws and Rules of Procedure of the Storm Drainage Board be, and it hereby is, amended to read as follows "The Storm Drainage Board shall be comprised of five-seven regular members as determined by City Council and two alternate members in accordance with §93-3 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins " Section 2 That Article V, Section 3 of the Bylaws and Rules of Procedure of the Storm Drainage Board be, and it hereby is, amended to read as follows "The regular meeting in July of each year shall be consi- dered the annual meeting " Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Fort Collins held this 6th da of October, 1981 ATTEST ayor 4-ox" - City Clerk
