OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF A PORTION OF THE
AMOUNT HERETOFORE BUDGETED AND APPROPRIATED
FOR EXPENDITURE DURING THE YEAR 19799 FOR CONTINGENCIES
WHEREAS, the General Fund budget for the year 1979, and the appro-
priation based on that budget include an item for contingency, and
WHEREAS, in 1979, there was budgeted and appropriated the sum of $1 77
million for the Lemay Avenue Extension project, and
WHEREAS, it is now estimated the Lemay Avenue Extension project may
require the expenditure of an additional $54,000, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to provide for such an expenditure
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the sum of $54,000 budgeted and appropriated in the General
Fund for 1979 for contingencies is hereby transferred to cover the unanti-
cipated expense referred to above, and the Director of Finance is author-
ized to transfer this portion of the amount budgeted for contingencies to
the 7-Year Capital Fund for use on the Lemay Avenue Extension project
