OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ENTER INTO A
GOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH LARIMER COUNTY AND
CURTIS E. SMITH, PLANNING CONSULTANT
WHEREAS, on December 26, 1978, Curtis E Smith entered into an agree-
ment for consulting services with Larimer County, State of Colorado The
City of Fort Collins, Colorado, was the beneficiary of that agreement and
provided a portion of the consideration paid to Curtis E Smith, and
WHEREAS, Curtis E Smith has now accepted the position of Chief
Planner for the City of Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, in view of Curtis E Smith's position as Chief Planner for
the City of Fort Collins, it is appropriate and proper that his contract
with Larimer County be assigned to the City of Fort Collins for completion.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS, that the City be, and it hereby is, authorized and directed to
enter into an agreement with Larimer County and Curtis E Smith under the
terms of which the City would assume responsibility for the performance of
those duties previously required of Curtis E Smith, it being understood
that the City would then be entitled to all payments due and owing Curtis
E. Smith from Larimer County
