01: THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ENTER INTO A LEASE AGREEMENT
WITH ELEANOR GALE FOR A PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN BUILDING
KNOWN AS THE AVERY HOUSE

WHEPEAS, in the past, Eleanor Gale has leased from the City of Fort '
' Collins office facilities located in the Avery House, and _

WHEPEAS, ` in consideration of that lease agreement, Eleanor Gale has
performed substantial renovative services to the Avery House, and
WHEREAS, in the considered opinion of the Council of the City of Fort
Collins,- it is appropriate for Eleanor Gale to be permitted to continue to
lease ousiness- office space in the Avery House for an additional year

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS r `
Section 1 That the City of Fort Collins be ,authorized to enter-
into a one-year lease agreement with Eleanor Gale for business offices to
be located in the Avery House in the City of Fort Collins
Section 2 That the consideration for the aforementioned lease
agreement shall be the sum of FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($500) per month, giving
duc consideration to any rental credits previously acquired by Eleanor
Gale
Section 3 That the City Attorney be directed to draft an aopropriate
legal instrument which safeguards the interest of the Citv of Fort Collins,
while at the same time providing for the lease unto Eleanor Gale of office
facilities to be located in the Avery House
Passed and adopted on a regular meeting of the City Council held this
