APPROVING AN PGREEhEN'T WITH ThE WORLD COMPANY
OF LAWRFNCE, KANSAS, FOR ThE ATTALHMENT OF CABLE
TELEVISION EQUIPMENT TO FLFCTRIC UTIIITY POLES
AND USAGE OF FIECTRIC UTILITY CONDUIT SYSTEMS
rJiERFAS, the City of Fort Collins wishes to acconmodate the installa-
tion and operation of a CATV system in the City of Fort Collins by The
4orld Company, Inc , and
VHEREAS, mutual benefit can be derived from the use of electric
utility or,ned facilities by CATV, and
khLREAS, the negative irrpact of installing a new CATV utility system
can be reduced through the use of electric utility owned facilities by
CATV, and
4HE11FAS, a form for such agreement has been approved by the City
Manager and the City Attorney, and a copy of the same is attached hereto as
an Fxhibit, and
IHEPEAS, the Council desires to approve said agreement and authorize
its execution
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PESOLVED BY 1HE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS, that the form of said agrecrrent for attachirent on electric utility
or,ned poles and usage of electric utility orned conduit systems be, and the
same hereby is, accepted and approved
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and he hereby is,
authorr7ed to execute such agreement for and on behalf of the City of Fort
Collins with the same to be attested by the City Clerk
Passed and adopted at a regular meet ng of the City Council held
this 21st day of _ August _ 197
