RESOLUTION 79-89
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEEMENT
WITH EISENHOUR CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF A PARALLEL TAXIWAY AT THE FORT COLLINS-LUVELAND
MUNICIPAL AIRPORT
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Aoministration has provided a Grant to
the City of Fort Collins and the City of Loveland in the amount of One
Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1 ,500,000 00) for the construc-
tion of a parallel taxiway at the Fort Collins-Loveland Municipal Airport,
and
WHEREAS, as a condition of said Grant, the Cities of Fort Collins
and Loveland are required to provide matching funds in the amount of Three
hundred Sixty-Seven Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty-Three Dollars and 52/100
($367,983 52) , and
WHEREAS, this project will require the additional sum of lhirty-Five
Thousand Eighty-Two Dollars and 40/100 ($35,082 40) which amount is not
eligible for Federal matching funds, and
WHEREAS, proposals sere requested for the construction of the parallel
taxiway and related services, and -
WHEREAS, in the considered opinion of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins, that certain proposal submitted by Eisenhour Construction
Company best meets the needs of the City of Fort Collins
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT'
COLLINS AS FOLLOWS
Section 1 That that certain proposal for the construction of a
parallel taxiway and related services at the Fort Collins-Loveland Munici-
pal Airport submitted by EisennoUr Construction Company , be, and it

Section 2 That the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized
and directed to enter into an agreement with Eisenhour Construction
Company in the face amount of One inflion Three Hundred Eighty-Nine Thou-
sand Nine Hundred Forty-Nine Dollars and 90/100 ($1,389,949 90) for the
construction of a parallel taxiway at the Fort Collins-Loveland Municipal
Airport
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City
of Fort Collins held this 18th day of September 1979
