OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FURT COLLINS
ACCEPTING THE RECOMMENDATION FROM THE DIRECTOR
OF PUBLIC VIOPKS REGARDING THE INITIATION OF A
SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT, STATING THE NEED
THEREFOR, THE NATURE OF, AND THE LOCATION OF THE
IMPROVEMENTS TO BE MADE, DESCRIBING THE AREA TO
BE ASSESSED FOR THE SAME, AND DIRECTING THE CITY
ENGINEER TO PREPARE AND PRESENT TO THE CITY COUNCIL
THE NECESSARY INFORMATION FOR THE FORMATION OF SAID DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Director of Public forks has recommended to the City
Council that a Special Improvement District he created for the ourpose of
installing certain public improvements in the City, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has received such recommendation and desires
to continue Frith the formation of such Special Improvement District
NOV. THEPEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLIi'S
Section 1 That the recommendation of the Director of Public Works
is hereby received and accepted
Section 2 That the improvements to be constructed are the following
The installation of storm seder lines and that such improverents are needed
in order to provide storT drainage for property located in the District
Section 3 The location of the improvements to he made is as follows
t1ithin the District as necessary to collect and transport storm drainage
raters and outside the District as needed to carry the same to a najor
drainage way The boundaries of the District are described on the attached
Exhibit A
Section 4 The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and
present to the City Council the following
A Preliminary plans and specifications of the improvements
proposed
B An estimate of the total cost of such improvements,
including the cost of constructing the save, engineer-
ing , legal and advertising costs , interest during
construction and until assessments are made by ordinance
against the properties benefited, and other incidental
cost
C Map of the District to be assessed for the cost of the
improvements
Section 5 Said Improvement District snall be known as Storm Sewer
Improvement District No 17
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held
thisl6th day of October 1979

IMPROVEP'ENT DISTRICT POUNDARY
A parcel of land being a portion of the East one-half of Sectior 35 ,
Township 7 North, Rance 69 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, Larimer
County, Colorado, and further described as following
Beginninq at a point approximately 150 feet West and 30 feet North of the
Southeast corner of said Section 35, said point being the point of inter-
section of the Northerly right-of-way line of Harmony Road and the North-
westerly right-of-vay line of the U S Highway 287 - Harmony Road inter-
section,
Thence running Westerly along said Northerly right-of-way line of harmony
Road approximately 856 5 feet to the point of intersection of the Northerly
right-of-,ray line of Harmony Road and the Easterly right-of-way line of the
Colorado and Southern Pailroau,
Thence, leaving said Northerly right-of-way line of harmony Road, and

Southern Railroad approximately 4,724 feet to the point of intersection of
the Easterly right-of-tray line of the Colorado and SCUthe_rn Railroad ano
the center of an irrigation ditch,
Thence, leaving said Easterly right-of-gay line of the Colorado and
Southern Railroad, and running generally Southeasterly along thr cent— of
said irrigation ditch approximately 1,060 feet to the point of intersection
of the center of the irrigation ditch and the Westerly right-of-gray line of
U S Highfray 237,
Thence, leavinq said center of the irrigation ditch, ara runninq Southerly
along said Westerly right-of--gay line of U S Highway 287 approximately
4,258 feet to the point of intersection of the Westerly right-of-tray line
of U S highway 287 and the Northwesterly right-of-way line of the U S
Highway 287 - Harmony Road intersection,
Thence, leaving said Westerly right-of-gay line of U S Highway 287, and
