ADOPTING THE PEPORT OF THE CITY ENGINEER ON
THE ESTIMATES, COSTS AND ASSESSMENTS FOR STORM
SEWER IMPROVEMEidT DISTRICT F17, APPROVING THE
DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR SUCH PROPOSED
DISTRICT, DETERMINING THE At,OUNT OR PROPURTION
OF THE TOTAL COST TO BE PAID BY A METHOD OThER
THAN ASSESSMENTS AGAINST PPOPERTY IN ThE DISTRICT,
THE NUMBER OF INSTALLMENTS AND THE TIME WITHIN
WHICH THE COST OF THE IMPPOVEMENTS ASSESSED AGAINST
THE PPOPERTY IiI THE DISTRICT WILL BE PAYABLE, ThE RATE
OF INTEREST TO BE CHARGED ON UPPAID INSTALLMENTS, ThE
PROPERTY TO EE ASSESSED FOR THE IiiPROVLtENTS, THE
METHOD OF MAKING SUCH ASSESSMENTS, AND THE DAiE WHEN
THE COUNCIL WILL HOLD A HEARItG AND CONSIDER THE
ORDEkING BY OFUINANCE Ot THE PPGPOSED ItiiPRGVE'iENTS
WhEREAS, IiPretcfcre, the City GQUrcil by resolution airecteo the City
Engineer to rake a complete survey of the proposed Storrs Sewer Im proverlert
District iP17, including the preparation of a map, plans and specifications,
and estimate of cost of the improvements in said proposea district, ana
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has nave his report and has presented
the details and specifications for the proposed district
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF ThE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS
Secticn 1 That the report, plans, specifications, map and estimate
as presentea by the City Engineer for said District be, ana the same hereby
are, accepted ano approved
Section 2 Tnat the total cost of sucn improvements small be paid by
assessments acainst the property in the district and that the City at large
shall not pay any cost of such improvements
Section 3 That the property to be assessed for the improvements
shell be as follows All prcperty t%ithin the district boundaries except
streets and alleys, said district boundaries being more particularly
described on Exhibit N, attached hereto, and by this reference made a part
hereof
Section 4 Tnat assessments for the cost of installing the improve-
ments in said district shall be made according to the following contribut-
ing acreage

Section 5 That said assessments shall be payable it ten (10) equal
annual installments, with interest on the unpaid installrrerts at the rate
of ten percent (10`G) per annum
Section 6 That on the 20th doy of November, 1979, at the hour of
5 30 o' clock P N , or as soon thereafter as the matter riiay come on for
hearing, in the Council Cnambers of the City hall , City of Fort Collins, is
the date on whicf the Council of the City of Fort Collins will consider the
ordering by ordinance of the proposed improvements and hear all complaints
and objections that ray be made and filed in writing concerning the pro-
posed inproverrients by the owners or eny real estate to be assesses or any
persons interested gererally

Section 7 That the City Clerk be, and she hereby is, directed to
give notice by publication and mailing to the okners of the property to be
assessed and to all interested persons generally, all as set forth in
Chapter 16 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins

AND TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS OF THE KINDS
OF IMPROVEMENTS PROPOSED, THE NUMBER OF
INSTALLMENTS, AND THE TIME IN WHICH THE COST
OF SUCH INPROVEMEN'TS WILL BE PAYABLE, THE RATE

Public Notice is hereby given to persons interestea and owners of
property to be assessed in Storm Sewer Improvement Disrict Po 17 that the
kind of improvements pr000sed for said District is Installation of storm
sewer lines, and the cost of said improvements as assessed %ill be payable
in ten (10) equal annual installments and that the rate of interest to be
paid on unpaid and deferred installments will be ten percent (10%) per
annum and that the extent of the District to be improved is as follows
A parcel of land being a portion of the East one-half of
Section 35, Township 7 North, Ranqe 69 West of the Sixth
Principal Meridian, Larimer County, Colorado, arjd further
described as following
Beginninq at a point approxii,iately 150 Feet West and 30 feet
Worth of the Southeast corner of said Section 35, said point
being the point of intersection of the Northerly right-of-
way line of Harmony Road and the korth�,esterly tight-of-Nay
line of the U S High�lay 287 - Har nosy Road intersection,
Thence running Vesterly along said Northerly right-of-way
line of Harmony Road approximately 856 5 feet to the point

within the District will be made on the basis of souare footage of contri-
butrnq acreage
Tne Paximum cost to be assesses, exclusive of the cost of collection,
leqal and aavertisinq, engineering, financing, interest during construc-
tion, and other incidentals, is as follows $0 11297 per saudre foot of
contributing acreage and that on the zoth day of Povembet , 1979, at the
hour of 5 30 p m , or as soon thereafter as the mattEr may cone on for
hearing in the Council Chambers of the City Hall , Foit Collins, Colorado,
is the date that the City Council will consider the oreerinq by Ordinance
of the proposed improvements and hear all complaints and objections that
may be made and filed it writing by the owners of dny property to be
assessed or persons interested generally All complaints or objections
should be rude in writinq and filed in the Office of the City Clerk in the
City Hall before said date, and
That a map of the District and estimate of cost, schedules showing the
approximate amount to be assessed upon the several lots or parcels of land
within the District, and all the proceedings of the City Council in the
premises are on file and can be seen and examined in the City Clerk ' s
Office during business hours at any time before said hearing
