HomeMy WebLinkAbout1968-001-01/11/1968-GIVING PUBLIC NOTICE CONCERNING A PROPOSED ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY AND AMENDIN RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL Or THL CITY OF FORT COLLINS GIVING PUBLIC NOTICE CONCEPNING A Pr OPOSED ORDINANCE CHANGI\G THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OP FORT COLLINS AND AMENDING CHAPTER 19 OF THE CODE OF OrDINANCES OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO, 1958, AS AMENDLD, COMMONLY KNO14N AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE WHEREAS, a written petition has been presented to the City Council requesting that the zoning classification for the property more particularly described in the Notice of Public Hearing attached hereto be changed from R-L Low Density Residential District to R-M Medium Density Residential District, and WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board has made a study of said rezoning request and has held a hearing and made a report and recommendation thereon, all in accordance with the provisions of Section 19-21 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, 1958 as amended and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to hold a public hearing on said rezoning request as required by Section 19-21 1 (2) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins Colorado, 1958, as amended NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that February 1 1968 at 1 30 P M , or as soon thereafter as the matter may come on for hearing, in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Fort Collins is hereby set as the time and place for a public hearing on said rezoning request and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is nereby instructed to publish a notice of said hearing as provided in Sec ion 19-21 1 (2) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins Colorado, 1958 as amended, in the form attached hereto Passed and odopteo ut a regular meeting of the City Council held this 11 ° day of January A D 1968 Mayo ATTES City C rk I NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN A public hearing will be held on February 1 1968 at 1 30 P M in the Council Chambers City Hall Fort Collins Colorado on a petition for a change of zoning from R-L Low Density Residential District to R M Medium Density Residential District for the following property Considering the N line of Sec 24 T 7 N R 69 W 6h P M as bearing due West and with all bearings herein relative thereto Beg at a point in the centerline of the county road which bears S 80 56 W 606 ft from the NE corner of the SE4 of NW4 of said Sec 24 which said corner bears S 00 07' W 1321 10 feet from the N4 corner of said Sec 24 thence S 89 56 W 1430 30 ft thence S 00 07 W 508 30 ft to the centerline of Spring Creek thence along said centerline to a point which bears N 63 19 E 201 60 ft from the last mentioned point thence along said centerline to a point which bears N 88 40 E 522 30 ft from the last mentioned point thence along said centerline to a point which bears N 60 55 E 151 ft from the last mentioned point thence along said centerline to a point which bears S 82 03 E 141 80 ft from the last mentioned point thence along said centerline to a point which bears S 15 35 E 117 80 ft from the last mentioned point thence along said centerline to a point which bears N 83 42 E 103 60 ft from the last mentioned point thence along said centerline to a point which bears N 13 40 E 159 70 ft from the last mentioned point thence along said centerline to a point which bears N 76 14 E 203 90 ft from the last mentioned point thence along said centerline to a point which bears N 18 54 E 266 33 ft from the last mentioned point the point of beginning Larimer County Colo excepting therefrom that portion already zoned R M Medium Density Residential District City Jerk (Note This notice must he published once at least fifteen (15) days befoi the dlle set for hearing )
