OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AUTHORIZING
THE SALE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS ANIl APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF CON-
TRACTS TO BE ENTERED INTO FOR SUCH SALE
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins acquired certain property in Block 82
of the City of Fort Collins for the purpose of erecting an electrical substation
on the same, and,
WHEREAS, in order to acquire the property necessary for such purpose
it was necessary that the City of Fort Collins acquire more property than
needed, and,
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins desires to sell such excess property
and has received offers for the purchase of the same through Rhoades Agency,
Realtors, and,
WHEREAS, proposed contracts have been submitted to the City providing for
the purchase of the same, which contracts have been approved by the City
Attorney and the City Manager
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that the City Council hereby finds that the property described below is not
used nor intended to be used for municipal purposes nor secured for the purpose
of being used for municipal purposes and that it is for the best interests of
the City of Fort Collins that the same be sold, and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the offer of Irene B Leonard to purchase the
following described property, situate in the County of Larimer, State of Colorado,
to-wit
The North 32-1/2 feet of Lot 7, Block 82, in the City of
Fort Collins, Colorado, except the East 50 feet thereof
for the sum of SIX THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED ($6,500 00) DOLLARS be and the same
hereby is accepted and the terms and conditions of the contract for the sale of
said property be and the same hereby are approved and accepted and the City
Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
contract for and on behalf of the City of Fort Collins, and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the offer of James W Stinnett to purchase
the following described property, situate in the County of Larimer, State of
Colorado, to-wit
4y The South 17-1/2 feet of Lot 7, and the North 1/2 of Lot 8
in Block 82 in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, except
the East 50 feet thereof
for the sum of ELEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED 411600 00) DOLLARS be and the same
hereby is accepted and the terms and conditions of the contract for the sale of
said property be and the same hereby are approved and accepted and the City
Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
contract for and on behalf of the City of Fort Collins, and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon payment of the purchase price for said
properties to the City of Fort Collins the Mayor and City Clerk be and they
hereby are authorized and directed to execute a good and sufficient Deed of
conveyance to said properties for and on behalf of the City of Fort Collins
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
