OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY. OF FORT COLLINS GIVING
NOTICE CONCERNING A PROPOSED ORDINANCE AMENDING
CHAPTER 19 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES .OF THE CITY OF
FORT COLLINS, COLORADO, 1958, AS AMENDED, BEING THE
ZONING ORDINANCE, AND RELATING TO THE CREATION OF A
ZONING DISTRICT TO BE KNOWN AS THE H-B, HIGHWAY
BUSINESS DISTRICT, AND DELETING CERTAIN PERMITTED
USES FROM THE B-L, LIMITED BUSINESS DISTRICT, AND
THE B-G, GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT, AND ADDING
CERTAIN PERMITTED USES TO THE B-G, GENERAL BUSINESS
DISTRICT, THE R-H, HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT,
THE C, COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, . AND THE B-P, PLANNED
BUSINESS DISTRICT .
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board has made a study and has
recommended that the Zoning Ordinance be amended by creating a zoning
district to.be known as the H-B, Highway Business District, and by changing
the uses permitted in certain other zones; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to hold a public hearing upon
an ordinance so amending the Zoning Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY .OF
FORT COLLINS that May 14, 1970, at 1:30 P.M. , or as soon thereafter as
the matter may come on for hearing, in the Council Chambers in the City
Hall of the City of Fort Collins, is hereby set as the time and place
for a public hearing on said proposed ordinance; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby instructed
to publish a notice of said hearing as provided in Section 19=46 of the
Code of Ordinances of the City. of Fort Collins, Colorado, 1958, as amended,
in the form attached hereto.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held
this 23rd day of April, A. D. 1970.

TO WHOM IT.MAY CONCERN:
A public hearing will be held on May 14, 1970,. at 1 :30 P. M. , in the Council Chambers,
City Hall, Fort Collins, Colorado, on a proposed ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance of
the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, as follows : establishing a zoning district to be known
as the H-B, Highway Business District, . permitting the following uses: any use permitted in
R-M, Medium Density Residential District, .public utility installations, any use permitted in
the B-L, Limited Business District, . any use permitted in the B-G, General Business District,
automobile and mobile home sales, drive-in or drive-through facilities, gas stations, motels
and motor hotels, shopping centers and other business uses which have similar environmental
influences, subject to. restrictons to.be applicable 'to said district; deleting from the
uses permitted in the B-L, LImited Business District, gas stations,..hotels and motels;
deleting from the uses permitted in the B-G, General Business District, automobile sales,
gas stations, motels and tourist-homes; adding to.,the uses permitted in the B-G, General
Business District, indoor theaters; adding to- the uses permitted in the R-H, High Density
Residential District, tourist homes; adding to the uses permitted in the C , Commercial
District, mobile home sales; and adding to. the uses permitted in the B-P, Planned Business
District, shopping centers.
