RESOLUTION 73-77
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROVING A REVISION OF SCHEDULE A TO THE
CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AND THE PLATTE RIVER MUNICIPAL POWER ASSOCIATION
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins heretofore entered into an
agreement with the Platte River Municipal Power Association providing
for the purchase by the City from the association of electric power; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to revise such Schedule to increase
the amount of power to be purchased by the City because of growth require-
ments on the City electric utility and because of the discontinuance of
generation of power by the City of Fort Collins power plant; and
WHEREAS, a proposed revision to such Schedule A has been pre-
pared, which revision has been recommended by the Director of Utilities
and approved by the City Manager and City Attorney.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT COLLINS that the proposed revision to Schedule A on the contract
between the City of Fort Collins and the Platte River Municipal Power
Association be, and the same hereby is, approved; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and
they hereby are, authorized and directed to execute the same for and on
behalf of the City of Fort Collins.

SCHEDULE A
SCHEDULE OF RATES FOR WHOLESALE FIRM POWER SERVICE
Available :
To ;i11 Members of Platte River Municipal Power.Association.
Applicable:
To all .I4embers of Platte. River for general wholesale power service to
be effective under and as a part of the contract for electric service
date 21 October , 19 71 and to become effective as of
25 September , 19 73 and to remain in effect until super-
seded by another Schedule A. Not applicable to standby or auxiliary
service.
Character and Conditions of Service:
Alternating current, sixty cycles, three-phase generally delivered at
115 kw and generally metered at the low=voltage side of the distribu-
tion substation.
Seasonal Contract Demand:
Summer 38,400 kw Winter 53,500 kw
For the purpose of administering this Contract, each Member's share
shall be the same percentage as the Member's kw demand bears to the
total kw demand of all Members, each Member's kw demand being defined
as the mathematical average of the summer and winter Seasonal Con-
tract Demands stated above.
Monthly Rate:
Demand Charge: $1.40 per kilowatt of billing demand.
Energy Charge: All kilowatt hours per kilowatt of billing demand
at 3.75 mills .per kilowatt hour.
Billing Demand:
The billing demand will be the highest thirty-minute intergrated de-
mand measured during the month as provided for in Schedule B.
Adjustments:
For Character and Conditions of Service:
If delivery is made at transmission voltage but metered
on the loco-voltage side of the Member's substation, the
meter readings will be agreed upon between Platte River
and the Member as specified in Schedule B.
