APPROVING AN P,MMEM WITH PLATTE RIVER POWER AO'IIHORITY
AND WATER SOPPLY AND STORAGE CCMPAW FOR THE FUSE CF WATER
WMMMS, an agreement has been proposed between the City, Platte River
Power Authority,and Water Supply and Storage Company under which sane aster
discharged F the City's wastewater treatment plant would be transported
and reused by Platte River Power Authority for generation of electricity at
the Rawhide site, and
WHEREAS, this agreement has been reviewed by the City Water Board and
such Board has reoanended the agreement to the City Council, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the proposed agreement and has
determined that the plan presented by such agreement is an the best interests
of the City and should be authorized and approved
NOW, ' , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CO(ML OF THE CITY CF FORT
CMLINS that the terms and condition of the proposed agreement between the
City, Platte River Power Authority and Water Supply and Storage Company be,
and the same are hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they
hereby are authorized and directed to execute said agreement for and on
behalf of the City of Fort Collins
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Councal held this
1st day of August, A..D 1978
