OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COL_LINS
AUTHORIZING THE ENTERING INTO OF AN AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AND THE CITY
OF GREELEY, COLORADO, FOR THE PURPOSE OF
INTERCONNECTING THE WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS
OF THE RESPECTIVE CITIES
WHEREAS, Fort Collins and Greeley desire to construct a
cross tie between the Greeley water transmission lines and the
Fort Collins water transmission lines, and
WHEREAS, the intent of such a cross tie is for use in an
emergency situation in which the treatment plant of one city
may be inoperable, and
WHEREAS, such a cross tie could provide water to a city
in such circumstances, and
WHEREAS, the construction of such a cross tie would be of l
benefit to the citizens of both Fort Collins and Greeley
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FORT COLLINS that the City Manager be, and he hereby is,
authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City the
agreement attached hereto as Exhibit "A"
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council
