OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY UF70RT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE ENTERING INTO OF AN AGREE-
MENT WITH LARIMER COUNTY FOR THE PURPOSE OF
THE CONTINUANCE OF A BOOKMOBILE SERVICE
ON BEHALF OF LARIMER COUNTY
WHEREAS, the City library system has operated a "bookmobile" service
on behalf of Larimer County by virtue of an agreement with the County,
and
WHEREAS, in the opinion of the Council of the City of Fort Collins, it
is appropriate for the City to enter into an agreement with Larimer County
in order that the City may continue to provide said bookmobile service
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the terms and conditions of the Agreement attached hereto be,
and the same hereby are, accepted and approved, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they
hereby are, authorized and directed to execute said Agreement for and on
behalf of the City of Fort Collins
Passed and adopted at regular meeting of the City Council held this
5th day of December, 1978

AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT, made this 5th day of December, 1978, by and between
LARIMER COUNTY, a political subdivision of the State of Colorado, herein-
after sometimes referred to as "the County" and THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS,
a municipal corporation, hereinafter sometimes referred to as "the City "
WITNESSETH
WHEREAS, in the past, the City library system has operated a "book-
mobile" service on behalf of the County; and
WHEREAS, both the City and the County are desirous of continuing the
existing arrangement
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual conditions and cove-
nants herein contained, it is agreed by and between the parties hereto as
follows
1 That the City shall operate the bookmobile within Larimer County
and shall provide the necessary staff, books, insurance, gas, oil, main-
tenance and minor repairs
2 That the County shall provide the vehicle which is used as the
bookmobile and shall be responsible for major repairs or replacement of
said vehicle
3 That in consideration of the services performed by the City on
behalf of the County as set forth in this Agreement, the County shall pay
to the City the sum of THIRTY-SEVEN THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($37,900)
annually, said amount to be paid in quarterly installments of NINE THOUSAND
FOUR HUNDRED SEVENTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($9,475) payable on March 1, June 1,
September 1, and December 1, 1979
4 That the terms of this Agreement shall be in effect from January 1,
1979, and shall terminate on December 31 , 1979
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have signed this Agreement on
the day and year first above written
